therapy can help you thrive

Let's explore what therapy can do for you.

hi, i'm susan

I work with high-achieving neurodivergent women who want peace inside.

You are driven, capable, and successful. But underneath that, you wrestle with flimsy self-confidence, anxiety, depression, ADHD, or food struggles.

You can name the pattern, write the plan, ask ChatGPT what to do.

Still, you feel stuck, anxious, and quietly hard on yourself. Your sense of worth rises and falls with how the day went and what other people think of you.

So what needs to change?

A real connection to your feelings and your body. More mental clarity, less noise. A sense of self-worth that holds steady, that’s less pulled around by outside approval. Calm you can actually feel.

This work helps you to create your own path forward – a path defined by peace and presence rather than shame and a restless mind.

create safety inside

Nervous system healing happens in micro-moments.

Many of the people I work with are working hard, but life feels chaotic. They’re stuck in a fight, flight or freeze state most of the time, and healing the nervous system seems impossible with so little free time. The good news is that healing happens in micro-moments and simple rituals.

Connection is the antidote to shame. The two most powerful words when we're in struggle: 'me too.'”— Brené Brown

My Training & Approach

ASMBS Masters in Behavioral Health - 2026

The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery provides training for therapists and doctors regarding the link between health and mental health, particularly in regards to nutrition.

Acceptance and Mindfulness-Based Care

In 2011, I was fortunate to complete an intensive DBT therapy program through Marsha Linehan’s company, Behavioral Tech. Dialectical Behavior Therapy helps us learn to balance our thinking, regulate our emotions, and lead our lives with less mental suffering through skillful action. This training provided a strong foundation for me to learn other third wave cognitive-behavioral therapies.

Holistic, Somatic Practice

Change can be blocked not only by executive functioning challenges, but also chronic “freeze” states and unconscious shame (rooted in a deep sense of not being enough). To remove these blocks, I aim to support your mental health both clinically and holistically using complementary wellness practices.

I'm Here to Help

Don't wait any longer to feel better.

Great care goes into building a supportive, comfortable therapeutic space for you to pursue your best life, which we start to build in the first meeting.
